'The Incomparable Max'. Writer and caricaturist. Best known today for Zuleika Dobson, an absurd and witty fable about the perilous effects of female beauty on the inmates of Oxford University. Caricatured FH several times [1, 2, 3, 4], and also parodied his writing style in A Christmas Garland (1912).
